The best meal we have had in all of PEI! This chef is unbelievably talented. The dishes were unique and full of flavour. All of the dishes were created with intention, each component complimenting the other flavours perfectly. The scallops and pork belly appetizer is a must try! It was so good I ordered more scallops as a side. The pickled blueberries were so unique and full of flavour. Every bite was an adventure.
The staff are so kind and attentive here! They have a beautiful patio overlooking the water. A great spot for a sunset dinner. The bugs come out later in the evening so make sure to bug spray ahead of time.
Thanks for the wonderful meal and experience. We can’t wait to come back.

Went here on the recommendation of our Air B&B host and were very impressed. Prime location, right on the water with a stunning view. Did not wait long for a table, service was very good and the food was excellent. The boys had the chicken pasta which they said was fantastic and I had the fish. Delicious and beautiful presentation as you can see from the photos. It was a Monday night, and although it looks empty there were a couple of tables nearby with other folks with whom we enjoyed some lovely conversation. Highly recommend this establishment and will return!

Absolutely amazing! We gave the wheelhouse a try after reading good reviews online.
The menu was incredible, loaded with creative seafood dishes. My wife and I had a hard time ordering because we wanted to try everything.
We ordered strategically and shared our plates in order to sample as many wonderful dishes as we could. We were blown away by everything. Scallops and pork belly on parsnip and white chocolate purée with pickled blueberries? Whaaaa?? This mad sorcery had me licking my plate!
Service was friendly and excellent!
We are looking forward to a repeat visit!

Took my girlfriend there for dinner. The dishes we ordered were very good. We enjoyed the seafood chowder with chunks of seafood yummy, fish & chips l, mussels and had blueberry tart for desserts. Happy overall with service and with a beautiful view.

We had an excellent meal at the Wheelhouse. The cocktails were tasty, and the mussels in coconut curry sauce, which was delicious. The Maritime linguine was chock full of seafood, including a giant crab leg! Our server was friendly and helpful in giving advice on what to order.

Really good striploin and blueberry lemonade! Pork tenderloin was a bit dry and food took quite some time to come but the service was amazing. Came with friends when it was a bit chilly and they gave us blankets! ALSO THE TART WAS AMAZING – LIKE HEAVENLY!

We went for lunch on Friday. The East Toast appetizer was very delicious as was the lobster melt! Patio is lovely and very large overlooking the water. We were here 5 years ago when it was Clamdiggers, which moved 10 minutes away to Cardigan, just before the Wheelhouse opened, its a beautiful spot it was nice to go back.

Restaurant was open past 8 which was a fantastic start! Great vibes, amazing view and refreshing cocktails. Oysters as a starter with horse radish is a nice touch. The eastern seaboard was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, great bang for you buck. The lobster mac & cheese was yummy. The Greek and Caesar salads were delicious sides, the fried capers were to die for. Also shoutout to the hostess that looked like Scarlett Johansson.

Tremendous fish and chips! Best I ever had. Crab mac and cheese was amazing the lobster was also excellent. Great place for date night or for families. A must stop at restaurant if you are in Georgetown. The views on the patio are something to see with gorgeous sunsets.

Drove here on our summer trip to PEI, and I am so glad we did. Georgetown isn’t a widely known place but we somehow happened n this place during its founder’s birthday! I had probably the BEST Mac and Cheese I have every had to this date! Their Crab Mac and Cheese is superb. Perfect blend of cheeses and nicely seasoned breadcrumbs and crab legs on top and crab meat mixed into the cheese (very generously!) served in a cast iron skillet, absolutely DELICIOUS. The chef has truly elevated this simple dish to gourmet levels. My wife had the Lobster Roll which was stuffed full of delicious PEI lobster but it just could not stand up to this delicious Mac and Cheese! I will go back here next time I am in PEI. We were also treated to the founders day firework display on their beautiful patio which is right on the water. Service was friendly and fast.

Stunning patio on the water, nautical mile sourced fish. Local fisherman deliver daily. On our visit the Chef created an off the menu special for us because he had a halibut tail on site. Smoked meal that fed 4 of us. Amazing meal and delicious cocktails. Get the bourbon ice-tea cocktail. Must stop location, and we will visit again in our week trip. Local beach nearby to make a full day trip.

Stunningly delicious food in a beautiful Georgetown waterfront setting. We had the crab dip to start (comes with a half crab or full one), which delighted our tastebuds. My halibut was moist and so flavourful. And the crab mac and cheese was a hit with my son. Service was great! The best food we’ve eaten in PEI!

If you are planning a trip to Prince Edward Island, do yourself a favor and include Georgetown and a stop at The Wheelhouse in your plans. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The deck overlooking the harbor was as picturesque as it was comfortable. There was plenty of staff and they were all extremely pleasant and competent. Those two factors combined to make a fabulous atmosphere. But in the end we all want to enjoy a delicious meal. In that regard The Wheelhouse will not disappoint. We had a little bit of everything but I particularly recommend the chowder, the Scallop and Watermelon Crudo and the Maritime Seafood Linguine. Everything was fresh, including the local vegetables, and was expertly prepared. As a side note, the owners also maintain The Wheelhouse Inn several blocks from the restaurant. We stayed there for one night. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and convenient. Again, I highly recommend. My only regret is I did not take any photos to share here.

One of my favourite seasonal restaurants that is a must for me each summer, time and time again. Their deck overlooks and is inches from the water, giving the most stunning views. And although sunny in the evenings, the sunset is worth it.
The menu reflects some seafood choices and other types of dishes that they have perfected the recipe and remain consistent. Their lobster and scallop risotto is to die for and is always my go to and there is many big pieces and is full of seafood.
The staff is always ontop of service, readily waiting to give you an unforgettable experience with a smile. I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anybody.

We went for a walk on the boardwalk after dinner. A small section is under renovation and is gravel for a wee bit. A beautiful spot to watch the sun go down.

The Wheelhouse location, service and food were all outstanding. We had watermelon scallop appetizer that was out of this world good and to top it off they delivered a spectacular sunset !!! Highly recommended.
